Comics Workshop at WVAEA Conference…

Today I hosted my comics workshop for West Virginia art educators at the annual WVAEA Conference in Morgantown. WVU Art Education professor Dr. Terese Giobbia organized the conference, the second conference the WVU School of Art and Design has hosted in two weeks!

10 art teachers representing grades k-12 and higher education participated in a 2 hour long comics workshop on Halloween. It was the first time I gave this workshop to professionals in the field, and the experience was very gratifying.

I always have piles of comics to explore for inspiration…

As always, at the end of the day we make enough copies for everyone to get a comic…my favorite part of the workshop.

Thank you to Dr. Giobbia for asking me to participate in this year’s conference, it was a blast!
