It was so much fun having printmaker extraordinaire Dave Menard in the shop this week! While at WVU, Dave had a solo exhibition and gave a lecture in Bloch Hall.
We made a two color acrylic plate intaglio print on the laser cutter, and we laser cut the same image into two blocks of linoleum! So much fun to proof these up and see the results.
It’s always fun to meet a new printmaker and welcome them into the WVU Printmaking community! Safe trip back to Illinois Dave, we loved having you here!
