It has been over two years since I’ve taken students up to Pittsburgh as these kinds of trips were a regular part of the curriculum in the past. So it felt so good to finally be able to bring students to my favorite comic shop, Copacetic Comics, and to Artists Image Resource.
This year, I co-juried the PRINTWORK 2021 exhibition with Rachel Saul Rearick, Executive Director Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh. I am very proud of the way this exhibition came together, and I think it showcases what is great about contemporary printmaking.
And it was so good to see WVU Print alum Feliks Pyron!!!!
Now WVU printmakers can start to prepare for our annual student exhibition at AIR in April!
