New work from Directangle Press…

Because of a lack of access to the print shop, I recently had new work printed by Josh Dannin and Directangle press. These prints are my first foray into risographs, I wasn’t sure what to expect and I am so extremely happy with the results! Josh did a marvelous job, and I would highly recommend everyone looking into Directangle for your printing needs.

“LOST IN TRANSLATION: small…mastered…inadequacies!?”
Risograph
11”x8”

These new prints are a continuation of a new series in which uses copyright free French comics from the early 1900’s, to talk about text as data and the intentional misrepresentation of that data. Although the imagery is absurd, I think this work can begin to raise questions about who has access to data and who has the authority to interpret data.

“LOST IN TRANSLATION: nice salami meal!?”
Risograph
8”x11”
