Artwork in “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”…

I was so excited to see two of my prints appear in the background in the new movie about Mr. Rogers “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood“.

The top print is titled “IRON MAN Vol.01 Issue 178 Page 16″ and is from the series of prints made deconstructing the color palette compositions of each page of the comic book Iron Man Issue 178 Volume 01.

The piece below it is harder to see, but is from the black and white deconstruction of the entire Iron Man comic.

I could go on and on about Mr. Rogers and my feelings about him, but to put it succinctly, like many, Mr. Rogers was so important to me growing up, and he still is. The movie is a good story about Mr. Rogers, but maybe more importantly it’s a story about acknowledging one’s feelings and emotions.
