Recently we hosted visiting artist Lenore Thomas. Lenore is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. I’ve known Lenore for a while now, and we have been talking about visiting each other’s schools for a long time, so it was really great to finally have her in the WVU Printshop!

After we looked at prints, Lenore did a quick sugar lift demonstration for us…
She uses Speedball drawing solution for the sugar lift…
It dries really quick and releases under the hard ground very easily! This was awesome to see…
