Art, printmaking, comics, news and more…

Cape Town artwork and prints…

Over Thanksgiving Break, my family and I had an opportunity to visit friends in South Africa. It was an amazing experience! While in South Africa, I had a chance to meet the two printmaking professors, Stephen Inggs and Fritha Langerman, at the Michaelis School of Fine Art at the University of Cape Town.

I was lucky enough to have some time to look at art during our trip.

The exhibition we saw was called “101 Geographies” and featured artists using the land as a symbol or metaphor for broader contemporary issues in South Africa.
