Below is a new print being shown for the “All’s Fair at the Fair” portfolio at the 2015 SGC International conference.
The portfolio is based on the 1939 New York World’s Fair and is being organized by Guen Montgomery. I chose to concentrate on the bombing that occurred there during the fair.

This is a bit more complicated to explain how this all came together. But it is a mash-up of the classic SuspenStories comic cover that essentially created the Comics Code Alliance, some of the New York World’s Fair comic cover, a part of an old 1980’s Iron Man comic, the headline from the day after the bomb went off at the 1939 NY World’s Fair, and a few other things.
