“Art Up Close!” at the WVU Art Museum.

On Oct. 2nd at 5.30pm, I will be giving a talk about the history of etching for the WVU Art Museum’s regular event titled “Art Up Close!” I will be talking alongside Bernie Schultz, Professor and Director of Education and External Affairs for the Art Museum, for a presentation titled “A Piranesi Print: Process and Product”. The talk will focus on a specific Piranesi etching from the WVU Art Collection: “The Pier with Chains,” plate XVI, from the series “Carceri,” 1761.
