It is always exciting when my students exhibit their work and I’m always proud of the results. Last Friday was no different.
WVU Printmaking BFA student Lydia Taylor installed her work at the Diamond Shop in Morgantown. Much of this installation titled “Before & After” was conceived and printed during Lydia’s Fall 2016 internship at Artists Image Resource in Pittsburgh. Lydia’s work deals with the challenges of traditional binary gender definitions.
Outside of the Diamond Shop…
A really good turnout for the opening reception…
I am really proud of Lydia and her work, I think this installation looks great. Nice work Lydia!
