Residency at Directangle Press…

Happy to announce that I will be in New Hampshire at Directangle Press for a week long residency.

During my time at here, my goal will be to print using the risograph machine to create a large-scale piece to be displayed during a spring 2024 solo exhibition at the Stopwatch Gallery in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In this current body of work, I utilize systems to create alternative meanings to images appropriated from public domain comic books. My work relates to Poststructuralist and Deconstructionist ideas about how we construct meaning, the fluidity of meaning and language, and our expectations and assumptions about how narratives and stories are constructed.
